Skip Hire FAQs

You cannot put any harmful or hazardous items into a skip. These include but are not limited to asbestos, fridges, TVs, computer monitors, batteries, gas cylinders, plasterboard, oil, diesel, petrol, tyres, paint and paint tins (unless empty), medical waste and explosives.

Payment for skip hire is paid in advance. The price includes the cost of hiring the skip, delivery, collection and disposal of your waste. Other additional payments, such as permits, will be taken over the phone.

You can keep your skip as long as as needed but the normal period is between one and 14 days. If your skip is on the road, you will need to check the length of time covered by your permit.
